3/4 c. brown sugar

1 tsp. cornstarch

1 cup ham or chicken stock or water

1 T. vinegar

1/2 c. raisins

1 T. butter

1/4 tsp. salt, dash pepper

1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Mix sugar and cornstarch in double boiler and add stock gradually, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring occasionally, until raisins are plump and mixture is thick. Serve hot with ham. Makes about 2 cups.
