When mommy is Kelly Clarkson, she really does know best.
Clarkson – who is pregnant with her first child – has claimed for weeks that she was convinced that she was having a girl although she didn't have concrete proof.
Today she got proof.
"We just found out we're having a girl officially!," Clarkson tweeted. "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"
Clarkson has been open about her bouts with pregnancy-related nausea and even admitted to USA Today that she had to mute the phone early in her pregnancy so she could vomit during an interview.
"I wasn't telling people, because everybody tells you to wait three months, and I didn't want (the interviewer) to catch on," Clarkson told the paper. "It was pretty awesome."
Since she went public with her news in November, the newlywed has been much more open with her ongoing tummy trouble, even dishing advice out to others about the topic on Twitter.
"Ladies if you r pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down might just be 'baked potatoes,'" Clarkson tweeted. "#godblesspotatoes"
Later she celebrated what she called a "#small victory."
"Didn't throw up once from pregnancy while walking my dogs," she said.
Clarkson married husband Brandon Blackstock in October and is now about four months pregnant.
