Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are leaving their longtime home of Oklahoma and moving back to Music City.
That's according to an interview with Yearwood published by CMT.com on Wednesday. The superstar country couple will soon be "empty nesters" as their youngest daughter, Allie, prepares to attend college this fall.
"There's an energy about Nashville that I love and I miss," Yearwood said. "And it's so awesome right now. It has a new energy that's so cool, and it makes sense because it's been a bit of a challenge to not live there and to have to fly in and out for work."
Later this year, Brooks' second home will be the road — he's preparing to embark on his first world tour in more than a decade. His return to touring begins in July with a sold-out, five-night run at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
