Four East Tennesseans and one contestant from Middlesboro, Kentucky punched their golden tickets to Hollywood on Wednesday night's episode of American Idol.

The group is now officially in the top 30 of the singing competition.

We spoke to one of the contestants who advanced about what it's like going up in front of the judges.

"It was a mix of emotions-- I was horrified to say the least, and it was also an honor to be in front of such accomplished musicians," said Briston Maroney.

You can catch american Idol Thursday at 8 p.m. on FOX.
