(WBIR) Chattanooga or Mexico? Those are places where Volkswagen is considering to build its newest SUV production line.

Volkswagen could announce Monday where it's new SUV will be manufactured, according to WRCB's Dan Kennedy.

But it's unlikely the new line will call Tennessee home. The company told state officials it already has offers to build its SUV outside Tennessee despite plans to expand Chattanooga's plant. In January, VW lawyers hinted to state officials that the dispute whether to unionize the plant caused delays in completing a deal with Tennessee. Plant workers in Chattanooga ultimately voted not to unionize.
