On Wednesday we told you about Senate Speaker Ron Ramsey who predicts the wine in supermarkets bill will pass this year.
Thursday, the man who put the nail in the coffin for last year's bill said he's willing to reconsider the measure.
Last year, polls showed a majority of Tennesseans supported the bill. When it went to committee however, State Representative Matthew Hill made the deciding vote against the measure.
Now he says he would be willing to reverse the vote if both sides agree to a full debate on the bill and potential amendments.
The bill would allow supermarkets and convenience stores to sell wine and liquor stores to sell beer.
