Unemployment rates are down across a majority of the state, and Knox County remains in the top 10 for the lowest rate in November.
The state rate came in at 8.1 percent, lower than the October rate, but higher than the national rate.
Knox County has the lowest number in East Tennessee. Unemployment dropped to just below 6 percent last month, and it was down considerably from October's 6.7 percent.
Scott County continues to have the highest rate in the state at almost 16 percent.
