The campaign manager for a group advocating for wine sales in stores is leaving his post.

Jarron Springer has been the president of the Tennessee Grocers and Convenience Store association. He also helped push the 'Red White and Food' campaign to change the law.

Currently, the law prevents supermarkets and convenience stores from selling beer stronger than 6.5 percent.

If the new law is passed, cities and counties would vote on whether to allow the sales
