(WBIR - Knoxville) Alcoa Police said Sunday that Donald Lynn Biggs, 49, was arrested in connection to four armed robberies in Sevier and Knox Counties.
A release stated that Biggs has been charged with aggravated robbery after witnesses said he robbed a Louisville gas station cashier at gunpoint on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the robbery happened at the Kenjo Market at 4228 Alcoa Highway around 2 p.m Saturday.
While investigating the case, Alcoa Police said they learned of another robbery on Friday in Sevier County. Police said video of that suspect matched the description of the Alcoa robbery suspect.
Authorities said following Saturday's Alcoa robbery, two more similar armed robberies occurred at Knoxville businesses. KCSO searched for a suspect in those robberies and arrested Biggs at around 3:30 a..m Sunday.
The release from Alcoa Police stated Biggs was positively identified as the same suspect of the armed robbery at the Alcoa Highway Kenjo Market.
