Six people who authorities think are responsible for at least sixteen home break-ins are now charged.
According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old George John Kapaya of Knoxville was arrested on October 10, when he came to the City-County Building to be questioned about a burglary that happened on October 7.
A few days later, on October 15, 19-year-old Anil Kaysosingh of Corryton, 20-year-old Neal Kaysosingh of Knoxville, 19-year-old Bethany Ellen Hodges of Knoxville, and 18-year-old Jacob Nathaniel Snelson of Knoxville, were arrested after breaking into a home on Gamble Drive. A deputy tracked them down a nearby fast food restaurant.
29-year-old Callentano Rodriquez of Knoxville was arrested at his home on Highland Drive later that evening on an outstanding warrant out of Texas for parole violation.
The six suspects have been tied to four burglaries in Knox County, eight in the city of Knoxville, and four in Union County. They all face aggravated burglary charges.
