A Dandridge man is facing charges after burglarizing a home then fleeing police, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say Bradley Joe Walker, 27, was spotted taking items from a home on Economy Drive in Dandridge. A neighbor reported the vehicle to police, who spotted the truck about two hours later. After a car chase followed by a foot chase, Walker was arrested.

Sheriff G.W. Bud McCoig says deputies recovered some jewelry along I-40 they believe Walker had thrown along the interstate. The sheriff's office also connected Walked to five other burglaries.

Walker faces six counts of aggravated burglary, six counts of theft, evading arrest, reckless endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
