Police responded to a call about shots fired Saturday night at an East Knoxville gas station.

UPDATED 11:30 P.M.:

Two victims were taken to the hospital after an altercation at an East Knoxville gas station.

Just before 9 p.m. Saturday night, officers responded to BJ's Market on East Magnolia.

Officials say a fight between three people broke out after they had a meeting in the parking lot of the business. One of the subjects pulled out a pistol and began shooting. One person was hit in the leg and ran inside the store. Another person was hit in the foot by a stray bullet.

Both victims were taken to UT Hospital and their condition isn't known.

(WBIR) - Police responded to a call about shots fired Saturday night at an East Knoxville gas station.

It happened at 2310 East Magnolia. Police were still on the scene as of 10 p.m. Saturday night and had placed caution tape around several pumps and cars at the gas station.
