The teenager who shot a McGavock High School student in January has pleaded guilty to reckless homicide.
Kaemon Robinson, 17, was charged by Metro Police in the death of 15-year-old Kevin Barbee outside a Donelson apartment building on Jan. 28.
He pleaded guilty in juvenile court Monday afternoon.
Robinson later told detectives that he and a group of friends were playing with a handgun outside a Burning Tree Drive apartment when it accidentally fired and struck Barbee in the face.
Robinson was put into juvenile custody soon after after the shooting.
