A suspected Ohio gang member wanted on murder charges has been arrested in Knoxville.

According to the FBI,, 32, of Columbus, was arrested Tuesday at the Knoxville bus terminal.

NBC4i in Columbus reported that Bowers was one of 17 people indicted by a federal grand jury this week in connection with a series of violent crimes, including 12 unsolved murders. All are believed to be members of the Short North Posse.

Bowers was charged with Murder in Aid of Racketeering, and Murder Through the Use of a Firearm During and in Relation to a Drug Trafficking Crime.
