The woman convicted of helping kill a Monroe County election commissioner in 2010 will not get a new trial.
Thursday, the court of appeals rejected Jessica Kennedy's appeal of her 2012 conviction.
Kennedy was convicted of facilitation of first-degree murder in the 2010 death of election commissioner Jim Miller. Miller's body was found shot in the trunk of his burning car in 2010.
Kennedy is currently serving a nearly 29-year sentence.
