Being diagnosed with diabetes can be a life-changing event.
To help people learn how to manage the disease, the Knox County Health Department is hosting its fall Diabetes Management Series.
The five-part series provides information on how to manage the disease through diet, medication, stress management and exercise.
The first class is October 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the Knox County Health Department auditorium.
Classes are free, but those who want to attend should register at (865) 215-5170.
