Governor Haslam recently launched an initiative, "Healthier Tennessee starTNow," to encourage Tennesseans to exercise, eat right and not to smoke.

Today's topic is third-hand smoke. Third-hand smoke are the fumes that come off someone who has smoked elsewhere. The fumes can have a negative impact on your health, says researchers.

Evidence shows that third-hand smoke is a risk factor in kids, like chronic ear infections and respiratory infections. A child is more likely to get an asthma attack if they live in a smoking household.
