(WBIR - Knoxville) A black-tie affair in downtown Knoxville Saturday evening helped celebrate East Tennessee's efforts to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
Some of the community's fundraising all-stars walked the red carpet at the 'Martinis and Movies' gala.
Money raised at Saturday's event would help support the East Tennessee Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its care centers at East Tennessee Children's Hospital and UT Medical Center.
The event also highlighted some of East Tennessee's outstanding young professionals.
Organizers said they expected to raise more than $70,000.
