A Knox County man as succumbed to injuries he received from a motorcycle crash in mid-September.
According to a report filed by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 22 year old Rocky Adams, passed away at UT Medical Center on Monday from injuries he received in an accident back on September 16.
According to THP, Adams was traveling eastbound on Stowers Drive in the Corryton community when a car pulled out from a private driveway heading westbound.
The accident reports stated that Adams was traveling above the posted speed limit when the car pulled out. Adams then locked both front and rear breaks on the motorcycle, it skidded for more than 20 feet before falling over.
Adams was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a mailbox.
