Kentucky state troopers shot a Harlan, Kentucky, man after they say he threatened them and raised a weapon at them.
The Cumberland Police Department in Harlan County requested assistance after their officers responded to a shots-fired complaint.
Troopers found 42-year-old Jason Edmond barricaded in his home when they showed up. Officers say Edmond began screaming and threatening officers when he came out of his home. They say two troopers shot him when he raised his weapon in their direction.
Officials say he was airlifted to Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport for treatment. Hospital officials could not confirm if they were treating him.
No troopers or officers were injured.
