A police chase involving a teenager Friday crossed 25 miles and two counties.

The Hamblen County Sheriff's Department says deputies were on the lookout for the suspect. It's unclear why they wanted to talk to him, but after spotting him, the 17-year-old fled from Hamblen County into Jefferson City.

The young driver hit two police department cruisers and continued his escape. Eventually, a tire blew on the driver's car, and police arrested the teen in Morristown.

They say the chase reached up to 85 miles per hour.
