(WBIR) The 13th annual Star 102.1 Radiothon kicked off on Thursday at West Town Mall.

The two-day fundraiser benefits East Tennessee Children's Hospital and specifically helps support its home healthcare for children in need, according to Erica Estep, the hospital's PR manager. Estep said this allows kids to heal at home but still get the medical care they need.

Since its creation, the radiothon has raised $2 million for the hospital, including more than $200,000 raised in 2013.

Morning show duo Marc and Kim will be live both days at the mall from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can call 656-KIDS to donate, or stop by the mall to check out the silence auction items.
