(WBIR) Knox County Board of Education will vote Monday night on Superintendent Dr. Jim McIntyre's $431.1 million budget proposal, which includes a two percent raise for teachers.

The initial plan called for a higher salary boost before Gov. Haslam changed his budget plan, saying the state didn't have enough money to cover raises.

After Monday's vote from the board, the mayor and county commission still have to approve the budget.
