While Knoxville's air is cleaner than it was a decade ago, it's still considered "unhealthy," according to the American Lung Association's State of the Air 2014 report released Thursday.

The report gave Knox County an "F" for ozone levels, which increased from last year. But those levels are still better than 2000.

The county got a "C" for short-term particle pollution because it had too many days of unhealthy particle levels. Its annual particle pollution grade was an "F."
