A special judge has set a trial date for a prominent Knox County attorney accused of delivering drugs.

TBI agents arrested Bruce Poston last month after a grand jury indicted him on drug delivery charges. Investigators say he illegally delivered hydrocodone to an unnamed person on three separate occasions.

Thursday, special judge Jon Kerry Blackwood set Poston's trial date for October 28th.

A motions hearing will be held before then, but the judge didn't set a time for that discussion.
