Alexa Linboom, 5, died in January 2012 after prosecutors say her father and step-mother forced her to drink a deadly amount of grape soda and water as punishment. The couple is facing charges for murder, abuse and neglect.

In March, Alexa's step-sisters and teacher started a fundraising effort to place a permanent marker at her grave. Before, all that marked her grave-site was a few flowers and mementos.
