(WBIR - Knox County, KY) Kentucky State Police said two more people have been arrested and charged in connection to a murder last week in the Scalf Community. Authorities also announced Sunday that more arrests are pending.

KSP said Elijah Messer, 30, of Dewitt, Ky and Angela Mills, 39, of Scalf, Ky., have both been charged with murder and are behind bars at the Knox County Detention Center.

This comes after authorities on Saturday announced the arrests and murder charges for two other men in connection to this same investigation.

KSP said the arrests are connected to the murder of Donald Mills earlier this month.

Detectives initially said the incident happened when two men claiming to be law enforcement officials broke into Mills' Scalf, Ky., home.

They said there was a struggle between Mills and one of the intruders, who shot the homeowner. Mills' wife took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On Saturday, authorities announced it had also arrested and charged Patrick B. Baker, 36, and Christopher Bradley Wagner, 36,

(WBIR-Knox County, KY) Kentucky State Police said officials arrested and charged two men in connection to a murder last week in the Scalf Community.

KSP said Patrick B. Baker, 36, and Christopher Bradley Wagner, 36, both of London, KY, have been charged with murder and are behind bars at the Knox County Detention Center.

KSP said the two men claimed to be law enforcement officials when they broke into the home of Donald Mills, 29, May 9th.
