The winner of the $259.8 million dollar jackpot in Wednesday's drawing has still not come forward.
(WBIR) - A very lucky person bought the winning Powerball ticket in Knoxville for the largest prize ever in the history of the Tennessee Lottery, confirmed state lottery officials.
That person won $259.8 million in Wednesday's drawing. If the winner chooses to take home the lump-sum payment, the cash value would be $153.5 million.
Right now, we don't know who bought the ticket and where it was purchased in Knoxville.
The winner has 180 days from Wednesday to claim the prize in Nashville's lottery headquarters.
