(WBIR) Knoxville police arrested three suspects accused of robbing two businesses at gunpoint this month.
Officers said Anthony Smith, Kaylecia Woodard, and Timeya Harris robbed the Grocery and Tobacco Market on Maryville Pike at gunpoint Monday night. After they stole some money, the drove off in an older Lexus.
Officials said they located the three suspects inside the Lexus on the 1200 block of Cook Drive. Inside the car, officers found a handgun, clothing worn during the robbery and the stolen money.
After interviewing the suspects and looking through evidence, investigators determined that Smith, Woodard and Harris also robbed the BJ's Market on 2719 Sutherland Avenue on June 12.
Authorities charged all three suspects with two counts of aggravated robbery. No one was hurt in either robbery.
