Work on and around the K-25 building at East Tennessee Technology Park in Oak Ridge has wrapped up.
The K-25 building was built in the 1940s as part of the Manhattan Project and was shut down in 1964.
It was demolished late last year. After the demolition, crews had to stabilize and clear the debris as well as clear nuclear waste streams.
The cleanup started last fall and was set to finish by January of 2015, but they finished ahead of schedule this month.
