(WBIR) A young Knoxville entrepreneur got to meet a new friend this weekend who inspired her to make a very generous donation.

Six-year-old Makenzie Pannell set up a lemonade stand last week. But instead of raising money for herself, she set out to donate it all to another little girl named Kylie, who she's never met and has cancer.

On Sunday, the two finally got a chance to meet in person. The special meeting happened during Kylie's Ride, an event raising money toward helping send Kylie back to Disney.

Teresa Cline said right now they're just working to keep Kylie as comfortable as possible. She says during a recent hospital visit, doctors couldn't do an MRI on the young girl because there was too much swelling.

But even through all this, she said Kylie is always happy but just rather tired.

"Just remember, we're in the fight until the end and she's one little fighter,"said Teresa Cline.

In return, Kylie and her family had a special present for Makenzie.

"They've brought her a stuffed dog and she made Kylie a card and they said they'll be best friends forever," said Makenzie's Aunt.

In the end, Makenzie's lemonade stand raised more than $700 for her new best friend Kylie.
