The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash that shut down traffic for several hours on an Anderson County road.

Four vehicles, including a motorcycle, were involved in the crash on State Route 170 at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers said the motorcyclist, 55-year-old Kenneth Lubthisophon, hit the car in front of him as traffic slowed down.

The car behind the motorcycle then hit the motorcyclist, throwing him into the other lane of traffic, when the fourth vehicle hit him. No one else was injured.
