A popular comedy club says it's closing its doors for football season.

Bobby Jewel, the owner of Side Splitters Comedy Club in West Knox County, says the club will be closing its doors until December. He said they are closing for football season because business is typically slow.

All scheduled shows will be rescheduled and Jewel says anyone who bought advanced tickets can redeem them for the rescheduled date or they can get a refund.

He said they expect to reopen their doors in the first week of December.
