(WBIR) More than 1,800 undergraduates will walk across the stage and receive their diplomas from the University of Tennessee this week.
The ceremony starts at 9 a.m. in Thompson-Boling Arena on Friday.
Jacob Hayes, a member of the undergraduate class, will speak on behalf of the graduates on Friday. Hayes, an American Studies major from Jackson, was selected to be speaker following a competition among members of the class of 2013.
On Thursday, the first-round of graduates received their degrees from the university.
The University of Tennessee will also host two MBA graduations Friday as well. Graduates from the College of Business full-time MBA program will walk in Alumni Memorial Hall at 1 p.m. UT Head Football Coach Butch Jones will be the keynote speaker. Graduates from the College of Business Executive MBA program will also walk in Alumni Memorial Hall at 3 p.m.
Parking for graduation will be available at any student parking area on campus, including the Neyland Drive garage (G-10), which is next to the arena. Parking for disabled people is also available in the G-10 garage.
