Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero wants to know what the public thinks of her plan to address homelessness in the city.

Her office has created a page on the city's website where comments on the plan will be accepted for 45 days.According to a press release, the mayor's office will review the comments while finishing the plan.

In the release, Mayor Rogero says, "Homelessness is a complicated issue, and effective responses require collaboration among many different partners. This plan is not a solution to any single problem. It is a framework that we will use to coordinate efforts to address both short-term and long-term challenges for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless."

The City will conduct a public input session on at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 11th at the Cansler Family YMCA, 616 Jessamine St. A City Council workshop on the proposed plan will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 27th in the Main Assembly Room of the City County Building.
