(WBIR, Knoxville) - Hundreds of dogs are taking over Chilhowee Park this weekend for the Smoky Mountain Cluster Dog Show.
More than 150 breeds are competing at the Jacob Building.
Some of the top dogs from across the country are at the annual event.
Many breeds take hours to groom and get ready before they strut their stuff, looking to impress the judges.
"They're not only showing their dogs, they are breeding for quality and health and things like that. People can come out and learn about the different breeds. If you were considering a golden retriever for your household you can come here and talk to a quality breeder about what they should look for in a dog," said Cluster Chairman Walter Sommerfelt.
The Smoky Mountain Cluster Dog Show continues until Sunday. Admission is free, and parking is $8.
