A group of beauty school students met with the founders of the Love Kitchen on Wednesday.
The Paul Mitchell School is in the middle of a three-month long fundraising effort for its Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation.
Each school gets to choose a local charity to receive a donation through the fund, and the Knoxville students chose the Love Kitchen.
Students got to meet with Love Kitchen founders Helen Ashe and Ellen Turner to find out more about the organization and why they started it.
"We have a very caring and loving culture so we want to help out in any way that we possibly can with any charities," said Taylor Dockins, Paul Mitchell School Phase 1 Learning Leader.
The fundraising efforts continue through April. The Paul Mitchell School of Knoxville will present the Love Kitchen with its donation after the fundraising drive ends.
