(WBIR) Knoxville police identified a man killed after his car ran into an east Knoxville home Sunday afternoon.
William Dixson Jr., 55. of Knoxville passed away at UT Medical Center after firefighters pulled him from his car.
Officials said they believe a medical condition may have caused Dixson to crash his car into a home on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. The crash's impact knocked the house from its foundation.
No one inside the residence was hurt.

(WBIR) The man driving a car that crashed into an East Knoxville home Sunday afternoon has died from his injuries.
According to the KFD, the man died at UT Medical Center after being pulled from his car from emergency responders.
The man's identity has not been released at this point.

A car ran through a home in east Knoxville Sunday afternoon.
According to the Knoxville Fire Department, the car drove into the house on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd at about 12:30 p.m. KFD said the driver of the car was a middle-aged man. The impact of the accident knocked the home from its foundation.
No one in the home was injured, but emergency responders took the driver to UT Medical Center for treatment. A firefighter was also taken to the hospital for a hand injury.
