(WBIR) A young black bear rescued in Va. now has a new home in Knoxville.
The bear arrived at the Knoxville Zoo last week.
Initially, authorities took the bear to the Wildlife Center of Virginia after they seized him from a home. The homeowner had been keeping the bear in his house for a month. Since the bear was no longer fearful of people, the Wildlife Center of Virginia decided to place him in a new safe environment, which happened to be the Knoxville Zoo.
