(WBIR - Knoxville) Saturday night, visitors to the Knoxville Zoo got to wine and dine with some of the regulars at Feast With The Beasts.

For the 20th year, the event brought some of the area's best restaurants to sample some main dishes. There were also "watering holes" where local breweries and wineries offered drinks.

The event is a huge boost to the Knoxville Zoo, bringing in thousands of dollars in donations. Lisa New, who helped put on the event for the zoo, said the great weather only helps bring in more donations.

It's a wonderful event. Last year it rained, but tonight the weather's perfect," said New. "We've sold a lot of tickets and a lot of people are still coming through the gates, and it's really good to be at the top of the food chain."

If all goes well, New said the Knoxville Zoo could pull in as much as $70,000, all of which goes right back in to the zoo.
