(WBIR) Starting next week, Pellissippi State Community College will be hosting several info sessions to help high school seniors better understand how to take advantage of the Tennessee Promise.

The sessions will specifically share details about program requirements and deadlines for students.

The Tennessee Promise is a new scholarship program that provides two years of community or technical college to graduating high school seniors absolutely free of tuition and fees. The incoming freshmen in fall 2015 will be the first group eligible, but the deadline for students to apply is November 1, 2014.
