Monday night, hundreds of people gathered to show their support for the victims of last week's quadruple murder in Cumberland County.

The candlelight vigil honored the four young people found shot to death in a car last week.

Several pastors were on hand to lead folks in prayer, and family members of those killed in similar tragedies showed up in solidarity to remember Steven Presley, John Lajunesse, Rikki Jacobsen and Dominic Davis.

"We can feel their pain because we've been there; it's very hard even a year later. To have something happen like that out in Renegade, it brought back those feelings that we had when our granddaughter died. That's why we're here, to pray," said Gaylord Harrison.

Organizers of the event also called for more drug awareness, saying in many cases drugs can lead to these types of tragedies.
