Nearly 3 1/2 months after breaking ground, the Labor of Love project to build a duplex for six adult clients of the Sertoma Center has been revealed to residents and members of the Sertoma Center.

The Labor of Love is joint project between WBIR Channel 10, The Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville and Knoxville Area Association of Realtors. Past Labor of Love projects include the remodeling of the homes of Love Kitchen co-founders Helen Ashe and Ellen Turner and repairs to the Childhelp Tennessee building that was damaged by storms in April of 2011.

On November 12, 2013 members of The Sertoma Center and the 6 residents who will live in the duplex toured the home for the first time. The residents will move into the home sometime before the end of the year.

A big thanks to all of our donors & sponsors involved in this Labor of Love project.

Monetary donations to help furnish the duplex can be made by visiting www.sertoma.com
