(WBIR - Greene County) A Greene County man facing murder charges is set to be in court Monday.

Officials charged Ronald Brickley, 49, with second-degree murder after deputies said he shot a man in the head and killed him.

The shooting happened on West Pines Road near Afton between Johnson City and Greeneville.

Officials arrested Brickley at the home where the body was found Saturday morning shortly after midnight.

Authorities identified the victim as Samuel Eanes.

(WBIR - Greene County) The Greene County Sheriff's Department confirmed to 10News that a 49-year-old man is in custody and facing murder charges after authorities said he shot a man in the head and killed him.

The Sheriff's Department told 10News that Ronald Brickey, 49, is charged with second degree murder.

Authorities arrested Brickey Saturday at 1760 West Pines Road, the same address where the victim was found.

The victim has been identified as Samuel Eanes. The Greene County Sheriff's Department said Eanes was shot in the head.

Brickey is scheduled to be in court for arraignment Monday morning.
