Police arrested the wife of a man killed in a shooting last week at his funeral.
On October 29th, Cocke County deputies found 42-year-old Richard Lane dead at his home in the Carson Springs community. They say his wife Missy Lane was handing him a gun when it went off, hitting him in the chest and killing him.
Deputies originally called it a homicide investigation, but did not immediately charge anyone.
But this weekend, they arrested Missy at her husband's funeral.
She is not facing murder charges. Instead, deputies arrested her with two warrants for violating her probation.

The Cocke County Sheriff's Department is investigating the shooting death of a man whose wife says was killed by an accidental discharge.
Sheriff Armando Fontes tells 10News that 42-year-old Richard Lane was found dead Tuesday on a driveway in the Carson Springs community with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Fontes says Lane's wife claimed she handed Lane a loaded gun which accidentally fired.
At this time, because of the what the sheriff calls "inconsistencies" with her story, they're investigating the case as a homicide.
No one has been charged. Lane's body was set to UT for an autopsy.
