A four-year-old Jefferson County boy was killed Thursday night while trick-or-treating with his family.

According to Officer Chad Cotter of the White Pines Police Department, Kadin Shane Robinson was a passenger in a mini-van that was driving with the side door open while they were trick-or-treating. Investigators believe Kadin may have dropped some candy outside the vehicle, and when he tried to reach it, he fell out and was run over by the van.
