Hundreds of students got to know the ins and outs of the Tennessee Theater on Friday, led by the man who's seen so much of its history, resident organist Dr. Bill Snyder.

About 500 students from Maury Middle School in Dandridge poured into one of the most iconic sites in Knoxville. It's housed musical superstars, the best of Broadway and some of the funniest people in the world.

The tour was capped by a showing of the "Miracle on 34th Street" and special performance of the Mighty Wurlitzer by Dr. Snyder himself.
