Knoxville-based Random Acts Of Flowers officially opened its third branch on Tuesday.
Volunteers delivered their first bouquet of flowers to patients in Greeneville.
Random Acts of Flowers collects donated flowers from weddings, memorial services, and other events and recycles them into bouquets for patients in area hospitals.
Volunteers say the recipients are always grateful.
"Really, these are for me? Why? Who are they from? And so when you share where these flowers may have been to know that they're not thrown out and they're getting them and brightening their day that makes a big difference," said volunteer Lynn Thibert.
Random Acts of Flowers opened its second branch in Pinellas County, Florida back in November.
