The Newberry County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina says all four teen suspects wanted for a Greene County murder are in custody.

Officials say someone spotted the teens running through a field into a wooded area. Officers surrounded the area, and a helicopter was able to track them until they were taken into custody.

Greene County Sheriff Burns said Robert J. Blanchard, 36, was shot and killed in his home on Snapps Ferry Road in Greeneville. Deputies found his body Wednesday night at 11 p.m.

Based on evidence found at the scene, officials named Blanchard's 16-year-old son, Zach, along with three other teens as suspects: 15-year-old Liam Lawler; 15-year-old Daniel Richards-Birchfield; 16-year-old Shelby Riley. The sheriff's office told law enforcement in surrounding states to keep an eye out for the teens.

A South Carolina state trooper spotted the teens traveling in a van at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday on I-26, prompting a car chase through Newberry, S.C. A Newberry deputy spiked the van's tires, but the teens managed to run out of the vehicle and into the woods.

Investigators don't have a motive for the killing.
