(WBIR-Knoxville) The family of Russel Blevins remains hopeful they will find answers following the 85-year-old man's murder.
"It's been two years and really don't know anything more today than the day it happened," said Blevins' grandson, Steve, who discovered his body in a Kingston home in August 2012, shot at least once. TBI said the case remains active.
"I knew exactly what he was doing that day, who was there with him the night before," Steve Blevins added. "Had this been that day, I talked to him last night and then I would've called him that Sunday when we called him and went and found him."
Blevins does not want this case to go cold, increasing the offer for reward money, "In fact, I'll say it now, it'll be $10,000."
He is hoping this one extra incentive could muster even the smallest detail, to find out what happened to Russel Blevins.
"It sure would be nice to know," his grandson said.
